Diana Mohr Obituary

Diana Lana Mohr

August 26, 1941 - December 18, 2025

Diana was born in Seattle, Washington, on August 26, 1941, the daughter of Bernie and Kathryn (Seeberger) Weber. She is survived by her sons, Scott and Ed (Charlene); daughter, Laura Mohr Church (Bill); grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Mohr (Ed), Rob Church (Alexa) and Kathryn Church Kotowski (Shawn); great-granddaughter, Quinn Church (Rob and Alexa); brother, Ed Weber (Mary Kay); and her sister, Janet Weber Spurk (Bob). She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 18, 2025, in Palm Harbor, Florida. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David; mother, Kathryn; father, Bernie; and sister, Bonnie Weber Walvoord.

Diana moved from New Rochelle, NY, to attend Ohio University, where she met her husband and love of her life for over 50 years, David. They married and settled in Toledo, OH, where they raised their three children, Scott, Laura, and Ed. She was a volunteer for public television and the arts, a fashion model, and successful business owner. In the 1970's she developed an advertising campaign for the Toledo Symphony Orchestra that received national attention, and she was voted one of the "Five Outstanding Women of Toledo". She co-founded and ran "The Agency for Professional Models and Talent" for over 20 years. Later in life, she and David retired to Florida, where they enjoyed playing golf together, and being with their children and their families. She was so proud of her family, and she was happiest when they were together for birthdays or the holidays.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, and her unwavering loyalty and protective nature. She always looked on the bright side of life, and, with a reassuring smile, would say "everything will work out alright - make it happen!" She was never afraid to speak her mind, and was honest to a fault. She had a sharp, sarcastic (and sometimes goofy) wit, and was always fun to be around. She loved to sing and dance, play cards and games, tennis and golf, being out in the sun, and tending to her roses. She "Loved it at the Lake!" She enjoyed either hosting a party or getting glamorously dressed up and going to one. She always made any gathering (whether formal, or casual with friends) a special one, and taught us all to be the first to want to sing and dance, joke and laugh, or act a little silly. She was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be missed.

Friends are invited to join Diana's family for a brief service on Saturday, January 17th, at 12:00 p.m., at the Swan Creek Mausoleum at Toledo Memorial Park, in Sylvania, OH.

Animals and pets had a dear place in her heart. "Her puppy," Hunter, was a rescue, and was her loved companion for 13 years. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Suncoast Animal League, 1030 Pennsylvania Ave., Palm Harbor, FL 34683. https://www.suncoastanimalleague.org/donate

I miss you mom. I´ll always miss your hugs `n kisses, our joking around with each other, and our special days together. I´ll really miss singing old Motown tunes, and spending Christmas Eve just you and me.
The Universe gave me a gift being born to you, and I´m forever grateful that you were my mom.
Love forever, your 1st born,
