She was the beloved wife of Terry Painter, with whom she shared a life of love, ministry, and service. As a bookkeeper and a pastor’s wife, Diana faithfully supported both her family and church community with grace, dedication, and a servant’s heart.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ethen Painter, Austin Hennigan, Carter Painter, Morgan Menjivar, Aubree Hennigan, Jonathan Painter II, Terry Painter III, Preston Painter, Gabriel Painter, and Penelope Painter. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Percelinia Painter, Evelyn Painter, Lakota Painter, Ezra Painter, Ginger Menjivar, and Henry Painter, each of whom brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her husband Terry Painter; her brother Les Andrews; her children Jeremy Painter (Laura), Jaime Hennigan (Roger), Jonathan Painter (Elissa), and Terry Painter II (Meagan); her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren.
Diana will be remembered for her quick wit, intelligence, and her reputation as the best gift giver, always finding meaningful ways to make others feel seen and loved. She found joy in quilting, crocheting, reading, cooking, and writing, often pouring her creativity and care into everything she did.
A service celebrating Diana’s life will be held on December 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Abundant Hope:1940 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, Washington.
Her family finds comfort in the promise of Scripture: “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain.” — Revelation 21:4
