Diana Lee (Campbell) Wright, 81, of Lynchburg, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born June 14, 1944 in Valdosta, Georgia, daughter of the late Webster "Bud" Campbell and Arlene Kipp Campbell. She married her husband, Roger Wright, on August 17, 1963.
Diana worked 20 years at System Research Laboratory in Beavercreek. She had also worked at Joe's drive-in in Xenia and Candle-Lite in Leesburg. Most recently, Diana attended the New Vienna Community Church, but she was a longtime member of the Wilmington Nazarene Church where she and her husband served as youth directors. She was an avid gardener, but most importantly, Diana was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Roger D. Wright; daughters, Carla (Donnie) Cherry of Greenville, Indiana and Tracy Wright (Brian) Kelley of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher Wright, Josh Jones, Shantae (Bryan) Schaaf, Breanna Walters, Malachi Kelley, Chanda (Dan Blackburn) Kelley, Hayden Kelley, Wyatt (Savannah) Cherry, and Cody Cherry; great-grandchildren, Makayla Ignacio, Oscar Blackburn, and Owen Blackburn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl Michael Wright, and grandson, Bryce Kelley.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Monday, January 5, 2026 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon, Monday. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
