It is with heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Diane A. Barlow. Her unwavering courage and strength will forever be the example by which we live.
Diane A. Barlow, 69, of Franklinton passed away on February 8th after a brief but brave battle with cancer. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, kindness, and fierce protection of her loved ones.
Born on July 1, 1956 in Corpus Christi Texas, Diane dedicated her life to her family and children John Barlow, Jennarra Turcios, Joni Landry and devoted husband of 52 years, Arthur 'P-Joe' Barlow. She also had a deep and abiding love of animals, bottle feeding and raising goats and having Cherry and Callie as as her constant, four-legged, companions. She loved music, drawing, sharing treats like pralines, and all the growing things. Above all she loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Eugene Anderson, mother Lorice Harjes, brother Benny Pearson and sister Vivian Pearson. She will be remembered by her sisters Janice Anderson, Vivian Pearson, Dianne Pearson; brothers Daniel Pearson and Durwood Mitchell; children, John 'T P-Joe' Barlow (Cindy), Jennarra Turcios (Larry), Joni Landry (Christopher); her grandchildren, Shaelyn Turcios, Megan Fleming, Kirsten DeLaughter, Easton Landry, her five great grandchildren. and her fur-babies Cherry and Callie.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
