I´m 15 minutes in, in the documentary. And I had to stop, to look this beautiful human up. May she rest in peace. And all the best to the rest of the family

I just watched the documentary on MAX and was so sorry to see at the end you had passed. I was diagnosed with OC in 2020. On round 6 and I will be fighting in honor of you. Rest easy.

I watched the documentary of you and your son. I am so sorry for your loss and that you did not know what happened to him when you lost your fight. I pray that you two are together and have the answers that you deserved. Rest in peace

My girlfriend and I just finished the HBO Max documentary and our hearts hit the floor when it ended and we read that Diane had passed. We send our condolences to the family and our gratitude to Diane for her strength, courage and example. She seemed like an amazing soul and we wish she were still here.

Hello! I watched The Bakersfield 3 on HBO Max. At the end was a dedication to Di. I am so sorry for the loss of a great and courageous woman! Cancer sucks. I know, I have it. Reading this wonderful obituary praising this amazing woman was gratifying. I could see that Di was a determined and graceful woman all her life! She was very encouraging and supportive and helpful for the other moms in Bakersfield. Their nonprofit helping law enforcement of Kern County improve and upgrade their equipment to help better serve the families and residents of the county find justice quicker was just amazing. I will always remember how inspiring and dedicated she was to helping Bakersfield become the peaceful community it deserves to be! Thank you Di for being the woman you were. And thank you to all those who loved her.

I am
So grateful that I found you a few years ago. It was so nice to reconnect. I have awesome memories of living together in San Diego and having fun with Chad and Dave. I hope that you get to see them in heaven. You are now and Angel like my dad. Who also passed away in April, I wish I could have gotten to see you. I was hoping to get to California again and visit you. God had a plan. Now you are with James watching over your family.
