Diane Anita Cothran, currently residing in Bristol, PA, suddenly passed away on Monday, November 15th, 2021, at age 66 in Lower Bucks Hospital. Diane was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 19, 1955, daughter of Madeline Manney (Rossi) and Arthur Manney (who predeceased her in death) and younger sister to George Manney (who also predeceased her in death). She was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and devoted friend.
She attended St. Leo the Great Catholic School in her younger years and received her HS diploma from St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in 1973. She had many fulfilling career paths throughout her life including work as Medical Assistant, School Bus Driver and as a Dispatcher for various companies including the City of Philadelphia. She enjoyed helping people every day and making fun memories along the way.
She was the precious mother of two daughters: Anita Woodward and Kimberly Cothran, who both loved her very deeply. They cherished the time spent with her, and the abundance of support and love she gave them throughout their lives. She was the doting Grandmother of 4 grandchildren: Siarra, Karissa, Adriana, and Mariella Woodward and also a tender Great-Grandmother of Makayla Lane. Diane loved to boast about her two daughters, and all of her Grandbabies and their accomplishments. Diane was also an animal lover and enjoyed spoiling her cats.
Diane was a lively social butterfly who could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was a warm, outgoing and fun-loving soul who had the power to make everyone around her laugh and smile. She was always the life of the party; loved to sing and could dance circles around the entire room. She had a true heart of gold, and would always lend an ear to support all of her friends and family. Diane was often found in the kitchen, creating traditional Italian meals for herself and family, especially delicious sweets and meatballs. She loved making cookies with her grandbabies during the holiday season while talking about her childhood memories and telling stories of her travels overseas.
In passing, she leaves to cherish her memory: her Daughters, Grandchildren, Son-in-laws, Nieces and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, and a host of friends who will tremendously miss her.
Public Viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 AM and a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM both, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. (at Haldeman) in Bensalem, PA 19020. Her Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery Philadelphia, PA.
