Diane A. DelBonis

Diane A. (Paone) DelBonis, 81, of Jamestown, RI and Rotonda West, FL, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of Frank P. DelBonis. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Benny and Angela (Montecalvo) Paone.
Diane was a graduate of Bryant College and was a legal secretary for many years before retiring.
She along with her husband Frank were two of the founding members of the RI Chapter of St. Jude's. They were members of the Charter Oak Society at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, where they endowed the Christopher Jon DelBonis Memorial Scholarship Fund. Selfless to a fault, her life's greatest pleasure was caring for her family.
Besides her husband Frank, Diane was the devoted mother of Paul G. DelBonis and his wife Regina of Jamestown and the late Christopher J. DelBonis; cherished grandmother of Angela L. DelBonis of Westerly and Nicole L. DelBonis of Jamestown; and dear sister of Maria C. Paone of Cranston.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, January 29th at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Monday Morning from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
