Our deepest condolences to the family. We pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort you all during this difficult period.

No matter what age a person dies it is still difficult to deal with. May the God of and comfort be with the family during this most difficult time.

Diane was my teacher in the early nineties. Thanks to her I see the centrality of poetry; though it we connect with each other, in a way no other art form can do. I am so sorry to learn of her death.

Sincere condolences to Diane di Prima family, friends and fans. May you find comfort in your treasured memories of your dear loved one in the days, months and years ahead. May Almighty God in the Heavens comfort your hearts with peace and loving kindness as you cope with this precious loss in your lives.

Since seeing Diane di Prima read "Light Poem" in Bob Mann's film Poetry in Motion I have attracted to her visionary work as a POET. Her style and substance, her magnetic speaking voice drew me into a world of language that to this day I happily inhabit. A beautiful and sensuous woman, her photograph inspires me to write. She granted me permission to celebrate my own language universe.

Please accept my deepest condolences to the Family. May the God of Tender Mercies take care of you and soothe your aching hearts with His peace and loving care. May His arm of strength support you through this very difficult time, Psalm 68:19. Diane’s memory as a poet will live on.

Diane was, and is to me, a kind of spirit guide. Over 30 years of her warm and unwavering friendship are tucked into my heart. I think of her as a prophet who spoke through her poems and her life.
I loved and love her. I hope she is dancing in the clouds
