Diane Camille Gamble, age 69, of Hazlehurst passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Diane was born on January 27, 1957, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a simple, genuine soul who found joy in the little quiet moments, familiar comforts, and the people and animals she loved. The soundtrack of her life was rock music of the 70s and 80s, which she adored, and she shared her days with her beloved dog, Pup, who was never far from her side.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Pond, whom she loved deeply. Their memories together remained a source of comfort and strength throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her uncomplicated warmth, and the way she appreciated life exactly as it came.
Survivors include her daughters, Kellie Hamm of Hazlehurst and Wenona Stamper of Jacksonville, FL, brother, Steven Croft of Jacksonville, FL and four grandchildren, Tayla Stamper, Geneva Stamper, Michael Ray, and Evelyn Greer. Seven great grandchildren also survive.
