Diane Gail Haymes Griffin, of Austin, Arkansas left this world on December 6th, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on December 31st, 1944, to Ed and Blanche Haymes of Austin where she grew up on their dairy farm.

In her early life, Diane was a proud homemaker and alongside her mother, founded the Baugh Chapel Extension Homemakers Club. In 1986, she was awarded the Lonoke County Homemaker of the Year. She served on the board of the Lonoke County Fair and Livestock show for over 15 years and served as a committee member for the Cabot FFA Scholarship committee. Diane was an avid quilter, bestowing her beautiful quilts upon many friends and relatives over the years. She also enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling, watching Razorback Basketball and visiting with friends and family on her porch.

Daine’s unique, infectious laugh and fiery personality made you absolutely love her. Her greatest joys in life came from her sons and grandchildren who affectionately knew her as “Granny”.
