Diane D. Gwost

Diane D. Gwost, 72-year-old resident of Flensburg, MN, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 at her home.

Funeral service held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN with Father Patrick Hoeft officiating. Visitation held from 4-6 P.M. on Wednesday at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN. Caring for Diane and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.

Diane was born in Hibbing, MN, to the late Richard and Barbara (Godfrey) Dickinson. She grew up in Hibbing before moving to California for a short time and later returning to Minnesota, where she graduated from New Hope High School. Diane was united in marriage to Gary Gwost in July of 1984 at Incarnation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN. She spent many years working in the advertising industry for various companies, eventually transitioning to freelance work during the last several years of her career. After retirement, she and Gary returned to Flensburg, MN, where they made their home.

As a young girl, Diane was a talented ice skater. She enjoyed traveling in her younger years and loved riding motorcycle with Gary and their friends. Above all, she cherished her strong and loving marriage with Gary and always valued the time they spent together. Diane was also a prolific reader, enjoyed tending to flowers and gardening, and had a deep love for their feline companions.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Gwost of Little Falls, MN; sister, Jane (Mark) Stuntebeck of Robbinsdale, MN; nieces and nephew, Shannon (Clifford) Olander of Elk River, MN, John (Margurite Cofell) Gwost of Flensburg, MN, Deb (Roger) Witucki of Flensburg, MN and Jean Gwost of Swanville, MN; and many great nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Barbara Dickinson; nephew, Wayne Gwost and great-nephew, Casey Gwost.
