Pierson’s Funeral ServiceDiane Hancox passed away suddenly in Hamilton, ON on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the age of 38 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Jordan, Colton and Logan; parents Gary & Linda Hancox; grandmother Joan Brink; siblings Michelle Hancox, David (Kayla) Hancox, and Kevin (Kirsty) Hancox; nieces, Danica, Addison and Georgia; nephews, Austin and Oscar; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents George Brink, Sarah Dunwoodie, Eric Hancox and Norman Oliver, and uncle Donald Oliver.
Diane was born and raised in Toronto, ON and when she was 15, her family moved to Calgary, AB. She loved to sing and had a beautiful singing voice. She often sang in church and in school plays and even sang with the Toronto Children's Chorus. She also loved being in nature, traveling, snow boarding, soccer, beading, writing poems, and reading.
Diane was a kind and caring person, always noticing the needs of others and helping when she could. She loved the scriptures and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She loved her children and her family dearly, and when she loved, she loved with her whole heart.
We are grateful for the wonderful memories we have and for the gentle, kind spirit she shared. We look forward to the time we will see Diane again. We love Diane dearly and are so thankful that families are forever.
A Funeral Service will be held for Diane at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Cranston Chapel (200 Cranston Rd SE, Calgary) on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm.
