Diane Huggler, age 69 of Campbell, New York passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at home. She was born on August 26, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Robert and Amanda Almond. Diane was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School in 1973. She received a B.A. from York College of Pennsylvania and later earned her masters degree from Elmira College.
She married Wayne Huggler on September 25, 1976.
Diane was employed by Corning West High School as a history teacher and touched many lives over her decades long career as an educator and mentor. She will be remembered for having a servants heart and always doing for others before doing for herself. Diane was very active in her church, Campbell Community Bible Church, and she loved to travel. No distance would keep her from her daughters and grandchildren. Diane is known for her passion for gardening and loved sharing her flowers with others.
Diane is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wayne; her daughters Amy (Andrew) Stenoish of Warsaw, IN and Pamela (Kurt) Nelson of Clarendon, NY; brother: David (Cathy) Almond of Downingtown, PA; and 7 grandchildren: Olivia, Jonathan, Christopher, Annalise, Alexandra, Zachary, and Cody.
Diane was predeceased by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at her church at a later date. Phillips Funeral Home, Corning has
been entrusted with the arrangements.
