Holly Goodman
Yesterday
Diane and I were childhood friends and she was the good in my life. Recently, she said to me Holly, remember how we wore those Pagella shoes in every color? But they had pointed toes - so our feet grew that way. And we wore Lanz clothes and we thought we were Hollywood material.
Of all my friends, we still stayed in contact all through the years. I loved her because she made me feel good about myself. Diane was so smart and had the memory of an elephant. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She made lemonade out of lemons. I know everyone will miss her. The world needs more her.
I think if she had the time while she was fighting between earth and heaven, she would have said the following to her family...
P.S. A great thanks to Marv and Jessie who made her life possible.
Marv was devoted to her, I've never seen a man like Marv, he must have
loved her alot! He took her to the doctor appointments, to see her friends, beauty shops, etc. He did the grocery shopping, sometimes 3 different stores to get what Diane wanted. It seemed like the only time he left her was when friends came to visit. Marv was also the one whom Diane could complain to. I'm sure he felt sad for her and sometimes frustrated because there was nothing more, he could do for her.
Jessica made her Mother's life fun. She planned the parties and got here whatever she needed. Thank you Jessica. She talked about you all the time. You have your Mothers' beauty and your children are great.
Your sorrow is mine.

Dearest Marvin, Matthew, Jessie and family
Archie and I were very saddened to hear about Diane´s death. I know the last few years have been very difficult for her. But her complaints were so few. She was always so interested in what we were up to. I treasure our times together here in Palm Springs as our dear neighbour and have always wished and hoped somehow we could have just one more visit.
Marvin you were an incredible husband! Loving and talk about no complaints! Everything you did was full of love and respect for your precious wife. An incredible example to your children and grand children. We are so happy that we had the opportunity to meet all of them.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Diane will be terribly missed but time and all the wonderful memories will help. I know she left enough courage behind for all of you.
Love and big hugs Archie and Judy MacKinnon
