Diane Joyce Jensen of Appleton, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026 at age 84. Diane was born June 22, 1941 in Ashland, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Theodore & Gladys (Larson) Melin. Diane married Ronald Lee Jensen in Ashland, Wisconsin, on January 25, 1964. Diane and Ron moved to Appleton after marriage.
Diane had many different jobs throughout the years. Dental assistant, bookkeeper, office custodian and parish housekeeper. In Diane’s free time she enjoyed playing the piano. Especially in her younger years while her father played the violin.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Kim Brown (Dave Rooyakkers); grandson, Zachary Brown (fiancée Crystal Scharenbroch); brothers, Robert & James Melin; and many nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jensen; parents, Theodore and Gladys Melin; and sister-in-law, Carol Melin.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the staff at Brewster Village for all the patience, care & dedication in taking care of Diane for the past 5 ½ years. The family would also like to thank Moments Hospice for their care & compassion during the past few months.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a later date for family only.
