Diane Tatum Langley, 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at her home in Ruffin.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church, with Elder David Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Denise, 2420 Ashland Road.
Diane was born in Person County to the late George “GT” Tatum, Jr. and Warnell Cobb Tatum. She was a 1971 graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School and was a 36 year employee of Etna. She enjoyed flowers, watching the birds and going to the mountains.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her niece Georgia Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Langley; daughter, Laura Langley; grandchildren, Braden Cannuli, and Ali Cannuli; sisters, Donna Athey and husband Todd, Denise Toms and husband Dan; and nephew, Will Toms.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County at PO box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or a charity of your choice.
