Diane L. Leonhardt

Diane L. (Walter) Leonhardt, age 81, of Hanover, passed away at SpiriTrust Lutheran – the Village at Gettysburg on December 7, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Helmut B. Leonhardt who passed away on November 7, 2013; together they shared 42 years of marriage.
Diane was born in Hanover, PA on August 14, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor Walter.
Diane is survived by her daughter Denise Senft and husband Timothy; her grandson Todd Senft and wife Kaitlyn; her brother Herbert Walter; her nieces Donna May and Kathy Sneeringer; her nephew Herb Walter; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Beverly Bowers.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Diane's life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 2:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, PA 17344 with Pastor Kevin Merritt officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. A viewing will be held on Monday from 1:00PM – 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
