Diane Marolt, 74, of Grove City, OH, was born on October 2, 1950, and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Sanford and Marvine Wolfingbarger, and brother Eddie Wolfingbarger.
Diane’s greatest loves were cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Most importantly, she loved to spoil, adore and mentor her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a gardener she had a green thumb, loved all things that grew, and anything she touched flourished as if touched by an angel. She loved to celebrate holidays and decorated her house, as well as dressing accordingly, for every occasion. One of her treasured pastimes was spending time with her Card Club friends. Above all else, Diane loved Jesus Christ and was a faithful and active member at Briggs Road Baptist Church. Her faith and courage enabled her to be a strong and independent woman. She was the gentlest of souls with the kindest heart, bestowed her nurturing love to all, and selflessly gave every ounce of grace to those in need.
Diane is survived by her sister Mary (and Steve) Schreiber, and brothers Benny (and Patty) Wolfingbarger, Jim (and Judy) Wolfingbarger, and Wesley Wolfingbarger; sons Mike (and Tara) Marolt, Bill (and Salean) Marolt, Steve (and Rick) Wolfingbarger; grandchildren Sarah (and Brantley) Wiggins, Josh (and Amanda) Ward, Allison (and Adam) Carmichael, Phoebe Marolt, and Lauren Marolt; great-grandchildren Milo Carmichael, Bryson Windham, and Mace Carmichael; nieces and nephews Ben Jr. (and Melissa), Amy (and Eric) Thoman, Becki Wolfingbarger, Dwayne Schreiber, Brandon Schreiber, Jeremy Schreiber, Todd (and Addie) Schreiber, Tori (and Donte) Williams, Ryan Wolfingbarger, Drew Wolfingbarger, Alex Wolfingbarger; and many beloved extended relatives and friends.
