Diane R. McPeak passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the age of 79. Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved being with her family. Diane was born on May 24, 1945 to the late Louis and Angeline (Cinquina) D’Arcangelo. She resided in Bay City her entire life and graduated from St. Mary’s High School.
Diane married Randall McPeak on September 4, 1965 and they raised two daughters, Ashley Hurley and Jennifer Jozwiak. She worked for 30 years at Holy Trinity grade school where she assisted with the playground and lunch supervision and was a lifelong member of Corpus Christi Parish.
Diane is survived by her two daughters, Ashley (Kevin) Hurley and Jennifer (Jeff) Jozwiak; granddaughters, Carly (Kyler) Watson, Jessica (PJ) Burke and her special grand pup, Bella; two great grandchildren, Alora Watson and Henley Burke and her sister, Lucia Rees. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ulrich and her brother, Gene D’Arcangelo.
Memorial Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Corpus Christi Parish. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
