Diane Jean McPherson, age 53, of Bauxite, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 10, 2025.
Born on January 19, 1972, in Harrisburg, PA, Diane was the daughter of Daryl Hoon and Deborah Rhoades. She grew up in Pennsylvania and went on to join the United States Air Force. The Air Force allowed her to live in England before returning to the United States. Diane never met a stranger and will be remembered for her kind heart.
She is survived by her father, Daryl (Mei Lin) Hoon, her son Cody (Kristen) McPherson, daughters Sarah McPherson and Lexie Gilleran, two granddaughters Blakely and Miley McPherson, her brothers David (Andrea) Hoon, Danny Hoon, Bill (Reagan) Rhoades, sisters, Denise (Rod) Stone, Patricia (Dale) Rhine, Cindi (Shell) Holtzapple, Bonnie Gao, Uncle Steve and Aunt Susie Barnes, and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, from 9:00-10:30 AM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas, with a Memorial service to follow at 10:30 AM.
