Diane Nightingale, age 81, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Gaylord, Michigan.

Diane was born on July 22, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Lance Hughes. Diane lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she encountered.

Diane was a devoted wife to her late husband, Ronald Nightingale Sr., with whom she shared a beautiful journey filled with love and companionship. Together, they built a life centered on family, adventure, and mutual respect. Diane's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she took immense pride in the accomplishments and happiness of her children and grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her daughter Veronica and her husband Darryl Klein her sons Ronald Jr. (Deanna) Nightingale Jr, and Randall Nightingale. Diane was a cherished grandmother to Adam, Austin, Jordan (Paige), Zak, and great-grandmother to Korbin, Aerith, and Vincent.

Diane's family was her pride and joy, and she relished every moment spent with them. Her love for sports was infectious and brought joy to those around her. A passionate bowler, golfer, and softball player, she was an active participant in local leagues and tournaments, inspiring others with her enthusiasm and skill. Her love for sports extended beyond participation, as she was an avid hockey fan, often found cheering on her favorite teams with unmatched fervor.
