Diane Padula Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 18, 2025.
Diane M. Padula, age 72, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 27, 1953, Diane was a devoted mother, grandmother, partner, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially the light of her life-her beloved granddaughter, Cassidy Scott. Diane's love, warmth, and unwavering devotion were felt deeply by all who knew her.
In her younger years, Diane was part of the carnival, where she met the love of her life, Vincent Padula, and together they began their family. She later enjoyed her passion for photography, capturing meaningful moments and the beauty of everyday life, and dedicated herself to assisting individuals with disabilities, working in group homes where her compassion, patience, and kindness made a lasting impact on many lives.
Diane had a creative spirit and later found joy in crafting and making jewelry, a passion that reflected her patience, talent, and attention to detail. She cherished the companionship of her little dog, Winston, who brought her comfort and happiness. Diane was well loved by all who knew her, and her kindness, strength, and gentle presence will be remembered always.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina (Padula) Scott; her granddaughter, Cassidy Scott; her fiancé, Ray Haines; her sisters, Denise (Coward) Molle (Michael Molle) and Alicia (Coward) Ruiz (Christopher Ruiz); her brothers, Marcellus Walden, George Coward, and Michael Coward (Christina Coward); her brother-in-law, Tom Travis (Debbie Travis); and many loving nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Padula; her son, Daniel Padula; her mother, Hazel Coward; her father, George Coward; her brother, Rick Coward; and her brothers-in-law, James Travis and Michael Travis.
A celebration of Diane's life will be scheduled at a later date. The family is grateful for the love, support, and kindness shown during this difficult time.
