Diane Renee Cody Pegrim

Diane Renee Cody Pegrim, age 64, resident of Bartlett, Tennessee and wife of William Andrew Pegrim, peacefully departed this life Wednesday afternoon, February 5, 2025 at her home.

Diane was born May 18, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Virginia Meeks Cody and the late James Cody. She graduated from Briarcrest Christian School in Memphis, Tennessee and from Memphis State University. She was employed at International Paper as an aviation office administrator and was married December 6, 1986 to William Andrew Pegrim at First Evangelical Church in Memphis.

Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her favorite place to be was in the sun by her swimming pool. Not a day went by without her singing and dancing with her air guitar to 70's and 80's classic rock music. She dedicated 45 years of her life to aviation and always kept a smile on her face. She never let the "Farrah Fawcett" hairstyle fade.

Mrs. Pegrim is survived by her husband, William Andrew Pegrim; her daughter, Alana Parotte (Daniel Parotte); two sons, Addison Pegrim (Summer Pegrim) and Chase Pegrim (Lauren Pegrim); her mother, Virginia Meeks Cody; her sister, Donna Cody; her brother, Eddie Cody; eight grandchildren, Tegan Parotte, Avery Parotte, Desteny Foster, Dalton King, Bailey King, Madison King, Harley Pegrim and Levi Pegrim; and her fur baby, Juliet Pegrim.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Pegrim.

A visitation for Mrs. Pegrim will be from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2025 at First Evangelical Church in Memphis. Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, February 13, 2025 at First Evangelical Church. The officiants will be Ronnie Stevens and Taylor Parks. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Bartlett.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Addison Pegrim, Chase Pegrim, Daniel Parotte, Zack Stafford, Joseph Herron and Matt McWherter.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude’s Memorial Giving in Honor of Diane Pegrim, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
