Diane Brown Perry

Diane Brown Perry, 78 of Bailey, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Mama, “Nana”, was a loving and caring lady. She always wanted to make sure everyone had everything they needed, especially food. She kept a lot of kids in her years and loved it dearly. Everyone knew Nana in the Bailey Community. She was known for her cooking (“The Cake Lady”). Mama will be missed dearly, but the memories will last forever in our hearts. Until we meet again, Mama. We all love you and will miss you.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, January 18th, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy, Wilson. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Monday, January 19th, in the chapel. Interment will follow at Bailey Cemetery. Matthew Roman will officiate.

The family will be receiving at other times at the home of Robbie Perry, 8785 Winters Rd, Bailey, NC.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Nichols and Melinda Pate (Tim); son, Robbie Perry (Delana); grandchildren, Ginger (Zack), Amanda (Nick), Daniel, Crystal (Hunter), Logan, and Jacob (Danielle); great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Lincoln, Jackson, Layla, Reid, Kayce, Molly, Kenzie, and Waylon; sister, Sandra Nichols; and brother, Andy Brown.

Preceding her in death are her husband of fifty-eight years, Danny Perry; parents, Warren and Meter Brown; and brother, Danny Brown.
