Diane M. Petrangelo

70, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at South County Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph (Hondo) Petrangelo for 50 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Poirier) Sicard. She was the beloved mother of Joseph Petrangelo Jr. and his wife Amy, and James Petrangelo and his wife Melissa. Diane was the loving grandmother ("Grammie") of Nick, Libby, Abby, Maddy and Michael Petrangelo; sister of Donna Helwig, Deborah Boxser, Arthur Sicard, Mary Theriault and the late Richard Sicard, Alfred Sicard and Brenda Fougere. Diane was employed at MetLife for over 25 years and was instrumental in managing the family's business (Ideal Concrete Forms) for more than 30 years.
Diane meant so much to so many and was happiest when surrounded by her loving family (especially her adoring grandchildren). Preparing and enjoying Sunday dinners with her family was her favorite pastime.
Visitation/Calling Hours Friday January 12, 2024 will be at St. Joseph Church 854 Providence Street, West Warwick 9:30am – 11:00am. Followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38148.
