Diane Shaffer Obituary

Diane Shaffer, 68, of Canton, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on February 3, 2024. Diane was born on June 24, 1955, to the late Robert and Imogene (Allen) Shaffer.
Diane was a 1973 graduate of Perry High School. She worked at AEP for over 30 years until her retirement in 2018. Diane was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, shopping and eating out with friends. Diane held her family close to her and everyone will miss "Aunt Dee Dee". She contributed to The Yarn Circle, where they crocheted pieces of blankets for those in need. Diane will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, Diane was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Mike" G. Shaffer.
Diane is survived by her siblings, Mary (Christopher) Kreiling and David (Susan) Shaffer; nieces and nephews, David, Tina (Doug Kriner), Troy (Mike Donahue), Matt and Aaron Shaffer, Angel (Mike) Morris, Danielle (Tim) Vincent and Brittany (Vincent) Maddern; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, including Ashton, Diem, and Landon Vincent who will miss seeing her every week.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 10:00 am at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with burial to follow at North Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Aunt Susie's Cancer Wellness Center, a cause that Diane frequently supported. (auntsusies.org)
