Diane Underwood

Diane Underwood, 82, of Columbus, GA passed Saturday September 27, 2025, in Columbus. Born to the late John Underwood and Bertha Coates, Diane lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and deep family ties. She spent much of her professional life in production at Pratt and Whitney, where her work ethic and quiet strength earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Beyond her corporate career, Diane poured over two decades into the family business, Top Hat Chicken, where her presence became a cherished part of the community and a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit.

Diane is lovingly remembered by her four sisters: Debra Underwood, Cynthia (Elmer) Donaldson, Laurette (Eugene) Mabry, and Yvette Underwood, and a host of relatives.
