Diane Walsh

We gather today to celebrate the life and cherish the memory of Diane Marie Walsh, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2024, in Dunedin, Florida. Born on July 13th, 1954, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Diane's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and creativity, woven through the years she shared with us.
Diane's journey began as the cherished daughter of her hometown of Ridgewood, where her vibrant spirit quickly became apparent. Her life was a testament to the power of love and family, a theme that would resonate throughout her years. She found her soulmate in Richard Walsh, and together they built a life rich in joy and companionship.
Diane's role as a mother was one she treasured deeply, raising her daughter Heather Biossat with an abundance of love and guiding her son Christopher Pracey with wisdom and warmth.
Her family blossomed with the addition of her son-in-law William Biossat, daughter-in-law Cate Pracey, step-daughter Jennifer Wolfe, and son-in-law Terry Wolfe. Diane's heart swelled with pride as she embraced her role as a grandmother to Kayley and Corbin Biossat; Jack, River, and Skylar Pracey; and Ella, Parker, and Sophia Wolfe. She also held a special place in her heart for her step-son, Ricky Walsh. Diane's siblings Barbara Ursry, Betty Byers, Marian Hampson, and Steve Sattely shared in the joys and sorrows of life with her, and she carried the memory of her late brother Kenny Sattely with love.
Professionally, Diane was a dedicated loan processor who approached her work with the same care and attention to detail that she dedicated to her family. Her colleagues remember her as a pillar of support and a beacon of positivity in the workplace. Diane's involvement in her community was marked by her generous spirit and her willingness to lend a hand wherever needed.
