Diane Mary Wilson

Diane Mary Wilson, 82, of Zeeland, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2020. Diane was born on Long Island, New York, December 27, 1938, to Edward and Dorothy Weger. She graduated from high school and later married Roland Gilbert Wilson. Diane and Roland raised their children in Reidsville, North Carolina. Diane worked in the home raising her children. She volunteered at Williamsburg Elementary School, and worked at a daycare after her family was grown. In 1996, Roland preceded her in death. Diane moved to Milwaukee in 1999 to live near her daughter's family and lived there until 2012. Her daughter Deborah Aileen Spencer preceded her in death. Diane moved to Zeeland, Michigan, to be near her sons, John and Jason, in 2012. Diane was also preceded in death by her brother Dennis Weger in 1972. She is survived by her son John Wilson of Holland, Jason Wilson of Holland, grandchildren: Dacia Diane Wilson, Juanita Michelle King, Joseph Roland Spencer, Aaron Christian Burton, Ashley Jonicia Burton, Destinee Viella Wilson, Ellis Gene Wilson, 10 great-grandchildren, her brother John "Jack" Weger, in-laws: Miriam Bonner, Joyce Wilson, and many extended family. A family service will take place, and interment will be in North Carolina. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Paralyzed Veterans of America, or American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Yntema Funeral Home.
