Diane Woodburn, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on July 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907. A celebration of Diane’s life, officiated by Pastor Gail Smith, will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.
Diane was truly the life of the party, full of laughter, light, and compassion. She had a deep love for the outdoors, especially spending time in her yard, walking her rescue dogs, and enjoying a peaceful rainy day. She had a natural gift for hospitality, was an incredible cook, and never showed up without a thoughtful gift in hand. Known for her humor, her strong work ethic, and her generous heart, Diane left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Diane was a proud mother and best friend to her three daughters. With patience, humor, and endless love, she guided them through life’s ups and downs. The strong, kind women they are today are a lasting reflection of the incredible mom she was.
Diane found great pride and joy in her work at Kia, where she made lifelong friendships and was known for her dedication and warmth. Her most cherished role in life was being “Lolly” to her beloved grandchildren, Edison and Brooks. She adored every moment spent with them.
Diane is survived by her beloved companion Mark, three daughters, Brittany and Daniel, Melissa and Glenn, Christina and Elijah. One stepson Blake. Two Grandchildren Edison and Brooks. One brother Norbert (Lisa and Ashley) one sister Caroline (Stephanie, Krisann, Sara, and Aubri), and many more who loved her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Rosemarie and Robert.
Diane’s memory will live on in every garden that blooms, every song sung with joy, and every act of kindness done in her name.
