Diann DuBois Obituary
Diann M. DuBois, 68, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 6:40 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
She was born on April 4, 1957, in Peoria, IL, to Raymond and Vivian (Fuller) Streitmatter. She married Marvin E. DuBois on October 10, 2017 in Branson, MO.
Surviving are her son, Mark (Rachael) Elmore of Swansea, IL; daughter, Susan (Jeff) Lane of Deer Creek, IL; grandchildren, Isaiah, Samuel, Kayla, and Aiden Elmore and Remy, Brayden, and Kooper Lane; sisters, Patricia Hay and Alice DuBois both of Lacon, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Raymond Streitmatter, Leonard Streitmatter, and Elmer Streitmatter, and sisters Dorothy Davis and Helen Legg.
Dianne was a woman of strong faith with a servant’s heart. She loved Jesus, dancing, and coffee, before it was cool. She embodied charity in her work in the healthcare field, volunteer work, and those she took under her wing. Diann was an avid prayer warrior and a member of Riverside Community Church in Peoria, IL.
Public Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. A Private Family Service will be held with Pastor John King officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dream Center Peoria, 714 Hamilton Boulevard, Peoria, IL 61603 or online at https://www.dreamcenterpeoria.org/give.
