Dianna L "O'Bannon" Dishman

Dianna L. Dishman, the daughter of Richard and Alma (Chandler) James, was born on February 5th, 1953 in Virginia. She was raised and educated in Virginia.

Dianna was united in marriage to Bob Dishman in Mexico, Missouri on September 1st, 1974. They started their family in Mexico, Missouri until Bob finished Ministry education. They moved to several states before landing in Goldfield, IA where Bob was the Pastor at the Park Church of Christ for nearly 14 years. They moved to Eagle Grove after the Church closed.

Dianna had a great passion for quilting and crocheting. She made many quilts and afghans that she gifted to the graduating students of the church, and crocheted more than 300 hot pads the she took great joy in gifting to many people. She had a big heart for people and enjoyed sharing.

Dianna passed away on Friday, August 29th, in Eagle Grove at the age of 72 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Holly Wilder.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years Bob Dishman; son, Joshua Dishman (Lolly); brothers: Stanley O'Bannon, Clayton O'Bannon, Tony O'Bannon and Skipper O'Bannon; sisters: Tracy Erwin, Kelly Kulhanek, Kody Abbot and Rachel Garner; many nieces and nephews, and good friends Mel and Dan Carrigan.
