LAKEVILLE, MN - Dianne Christie (Black) Stewart, 76, of Apple Valley/Lakeville, MN went to be with Jesus on September 20, 2023, surrounded by her family. Dianne was born in Waterloo, IA on September 19, 1947, and grew up in Owatonna, MN. She graduated from Mankato State University with a teaching degree and taught in both Richfield and Apple Valley throughout her career. Dianne married her lifelong love, Patrick Stewart, on July 24th, 1971. She and Pat raised their family in Apple Valley. Dianne is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years; twin daughters, Kari (Scott) Campbell and Jill (Lance) Glosemeyer; son, Jeff (Nicole) Stewart; sister, Donna Rohrer; brother, Richard "Deaner" Black; cousin, Jennie King; sister-in-law Nancy Syverson, 9 adoring grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Jayne Black; father and mother-in-law, William & Margie Stewart; and brothers-in-law, Charles Rohrer and Gary Syverson. We will celebrate Dianne's beautiful life on October 12 at Hosanna church, 9600 163rd St. W. Lakeville, MN. There will be a service at 11 a.m., visitation at 10 a.m., and a lunch celebration to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Bloomington, MN Young Life, or Hosanna Church.
