Dianne McPhearson, age 77 of
Shreveport, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in
Allen, Texas, after a three-year battle with Ovarian Cancer. She fought with unwavering courage and grace. Dianne lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and deep devotion to her family.
Dianne was a graduate of Winnfield Senior High School in 1966. She attended Guy's Cosmetology School in 1967. She owned De's Hair Place in Winnfield, Louisiana until 2004. She retired to move closer to her daughter and take care of her future grandchildren. Her career reflected not only her skill, but her gift of connecting with others.
Later in life, Dianne met her true love, Roger Forrest McPhearson. They were united in marriage on September 17, 1994. Together they shared many years of love, laughter, and companionship.
Dianne found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a profound love of cooking, gardening, and sewing, especially with Lydia's Sewing group at First Baptist Blanchard. Her Grandchildren were the love of her life and what she lived for, and she cherished her Shih-Tzu fur babies.
Dianne is survived by her daughters, Kathlyn Bradford (Jim Sanders) of Frisco, Texas; Traci Ramsey (Daniel) of Princeton, Louisiana; Rebecca Anderson (Lance) of White Oak, Texas; son, Kevin McPhearson of Denham Springs, Louisiana; grandchildren, William, Emma, Andrew, Jonathan, Austin, Nathan, Layton, Landon, Aaron, Taylor, Makaelah, and Gabriele; great grandchildren Caleb and Josephine; fur babies, Bella, Gracie, Lillie, Hallie, and Evie; Brother, William Cecil McCarty Jr (Linda) of Winnfield, Louisiana; sister-cousin, Linda Fourroux of Resaca, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roger McPhearson, Parents, William and Mottice McCarty and sisters, Vera Robertson, Lora Jeanette Greene, and Betty Joe McCarty Roberts.
Dianne touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on, in all of us.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks to all who supported Dianne during her journey- especially Dr Travis Sims and the staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center, who gave her the best hope and care.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Blanchard in Blanchard, Louisiana.
