What a very Special person Dick Clark was. He sure made the Music world what it is today. I enjoyed watching him all the time. But Will always miss him every New Years Eve. That will be the date we all keep him in our hearts. Many tears drop over the loss of a man that will always forever be alive to us with lots of Music. My heart goes out to all familys. “For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones.” (Hebrews 6:10). Dick Clark will never be forgotten for all the work that was done for this music community and especially those encouraged and inspired in this persons' care. May God continue to strengthen the family and friends in these “times hard to deal with” (2 Tim 3:1), especially without a beloved one such as the legendary Dick Clark this talented and loved person gone from our lives but not forgotten.

I remember anxiously looking forward to watching New Year's Rockin Eve every year from 1994 until 2012. I don't watch the show these days because it's not the same without Mr. Dick Clark. I also enjoyed watching Dick's Bloopers show with Ed McMahon before Dick suffered his stroke back in December of 2004. Sure there will be other emcees and game/TV show hosts, but none of them can ever fill Dick's shoes. He was truly one of a kind.

June 11, 2014

Thank you for the wonderful years you have given.. I grow up with you and the sounds you gave ussuch as James Brown,etc....RIP

He was an original pioneer, in his own right. He was always a friend, to many pioneers of the early days of rock and roll (50;s/60's) when they were out of work!
Dick Clark was a dear and loving man, to many acts that were out of work by forming his own booking agency "The Dick Clark Agency" in the late 1960's and hiring them to do many corporate gigs!
It was a very sad day, when the late Jackie Wilson suffered a heart attack during a Dick Clark packaged concert at New Jersey's Latin Casino in Cherry Hill. Jackie was never to perform ever again on a stage!

Dick Clark helped make me become hip because through him I learned popular songs and thrilled my friends with my newly acquired knowledge of the latest music and dance. Dick Clark a gracious and respectable person whose work has done so much to bring so much joy to many of us in these troubled times hard to deal with (2 Tim 3:1). Perhaps more will continue to have positive experiences from a wonderful work that has had an impactful contribution to life and its anxieties. Many still miss you.

Likewise let YOUR light shine before men, that they may see YOUR fine works and give glory to YOUR Father who is in the heavens. Matthew 5:16
A true renaissance man. I can't help thinking of Dick Clark without smiling. He was charm personified with a good measure of approachability, sincerity and warmth. He enjoyed everything he did and it was reflected in the measure of success he attained, not only materially but also in his relationships with others. I will miss the joy you brought to life.

To The Clark Family,
With deep sympathy and a heavy heart ,I write these words for your family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find peace in all the pleasant memories that you have, and may they comfort you, and bring you strength, in your time of grief. May you also find comfort with the thoughts below:
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
This verse found @ Isaiah 49:13 has comforted me, I hope that t comforts you as well.
With Deepest Sympathy

Dick, while living at the Laconia
State School and Training Center
(a residential placement in Laconia, New Hampshire), I always watched
your American Bandstand dance show
on a black-and-white television set every Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed watching it. The Philadelphia High School students danced well on your show.

Since your passing, I will miss you now. You hosted your American Bandstand wonderfully well! I am
so sorry to learn that you suffered
a miner stroke affecting your speech.

Thank You for allowing the many young talents to appear on American Bandstand. You have truly been a blessing to many generations of Rock N Rollers along with other music diversities. Nevertheless, thank you for sticking up and supporting talents such as Elvis Presley. Thank you for the kind words that you said when you interviewed Elvis while he was in the Army stationed in Germany. American Bandstand and America voted him the "Top Young Act" for the second year in a role even though he had been enlisted. Because of you and your t.v. show and radio, you did not forget him. This is what makes you a truly, iconic legend.
