In Loving Memory of Dickie Lee Wilson
Dickie Lee Wilson, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on August 28, 2024. At this time, no services will be held for Dickie. "Paw-Paw," as many knew him, was a bright light for his family and friends. His spark will be deeply missed & his absence profoundly felt.
Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rebecca Wilson; his siblings Anna Moore (Bill) and Kevin Wilson (Brandi); his daughter, Donna Huffman (Todd); his grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Hunter), Joshua Morse, Justin Morse (Angie); his great-grandchildren, Lucy Schell, Annabella Pickard, Aiden Brown, Lorenzo Pickard, Cameron Morse, Delilah Brown, and Phoenix Morse, as well as numerous other family and friends.
Paw-Paw was a passionate LSU football fan and dedicated supporter of the Marine Corps, where he proudly served as a supply chief for many years. Known for his unwavering love for his family and his cherished grandbabies, Dickie was an active member of Church Alive in Mount Juliet, lending his voice to the church choir. His quick humor, sharp wit, and love for crime shows, particularly "OPD Live," brought joy to those around him. Dickie's profound love for his family deeply touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dickie's memory will continue to shine on through the hearts of his grandchildren, friends, and family. Rest in peace.
As a tribute to Dickie, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Church Alive. For further details on how to contribute, please visit their website at https://www.churchaliveupc.org/.
