Diggo White Face Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sioux Funeral Home on Dec. 18, 2025.
Diggo Cadence White Face, Jr. was born on February 16, 2010 in Pine Ridge, SD to Cheryl Cross-White Face and Diggo White Face, Sr. Diggo made his journey to the Spirit World on December 10, 2025 in Stephan, SD.
Diggo was known as June, Junior, and Diggz to his loved ones, a vibrant 15-year-old, left us too soon. He was a happy kid who loved to laugh and tease his friends, spreading joy wherever he went. His best friend, Travis Red Owl, was more than just a friend - he was his brother. He loved chillin' at Taco Bell and exploring new places with Travis. He attended elementary school in Rockyford from kindergarten to eighth grade. He then attended Lakota Tech for his freshman year, transferring to Little Wound School second semester, and finally Crow Creek High School, where he was a student until his passing.
Diggo jr was a curious and eager learner, always trying new things and soaking up knowledge. He worked in the school kitchen, where staff said he was a joy to work with - always willing to lend a hand and bring a smile to their day. He took pride in earning his own money and was excited about the opportunities it brought.
Diggo Jr also loved gettin' his hands dirty workin' on cars with Travis, and spendin' hours playin' XBOX with his friends. And he was a huge cat lover - those furry friends brought him so much joy. He had a heart full of love, always givin' hugs and sayin' hi to everyone he met. He was especially close to his late grandpa Howard, who called him Diggz, and loved goin' wherever he went. He'll be deeply missed by his cousins Greyson, Dacen, and Aileen, who were always on his mind.
June will be deeply missed by friends family and community his memory will live on through his laughter adventures memories shared with loved ones.
Diggo was a very happy young man, he was caring, loving, and respectful. He had a lot of compassion for his family. He was raised to love one another. Jr. was raised to love God/Tunkasila and was taught his four values in life. Jr was also very respectful towards his cultural teachings.
