My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Dillon, even at this late of date (Feb. 28, 2017.) I just happened to have the opportunity to talk with Dillon's mother, Barbara, and we found out we had a common bond, the death of our sons. Barbara, I would just like to re-emphasize that I am here if you ever need to talk. You have my numbers. Almost 2 1/2 years have gone by since Hoyt was killed, but I still feel as if it was yesterday and I believe I always will. The loss of our precious sons are losses we will never get over, but with the support of family, friends, and others (especially those who have been through what you have been through) you will be able to pull yourself back up again and continue on with life, but now in a new and different way. I'm still struggling, but I have found the strength to know that I must continue on with my life, especially for my other son, who is now 17, older than his brother was when he died. Once again, please feel free to call me anytime. I will be glad to talk and spend some time together if you wish. I welcome the opportunity to be able to share stories and memories of our boys.
