Dina Allene Splettstoesser, 62, Hope, ND, died unexpectedly Thursday September 25,2025 at her home in Hope, ND.

Dina was born April 9, 1963 in Fresno, CA, the daughter of Edward Robinson & Barbara (Arbizu) Boynton. She attended school in Fresno, CA and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1981. She attended MCED Career College (Fresno, CA) where she completed her certifications for Administrative Legal Assistant and Administrative Medical Assistant. Dina worked in various lines of employment before retiring in February 2025.

On January 1, 2000 Dina married the love of her life Marvin Splettstoesser in Reno, NV. Together they combined their families giving them four beautiful children, Sarah Robinson, James Boggs, Amanda Splettstoesser & Cole Splettstoesser. They raised their family in Squaw Valley, CA until moving to Hope, ND in 2009.

Dina enjoyed being outdoors with her family and her dogs. Everything from camping, fishing, barbequing or just sitting outside with her husband, kids and grandkids was her favorite place to be.

Those closest to Dina knew her as a “firecracker” she had a loud contagious laugh that would carry through a whole room. If Dina was around everyone knew it. We never knew what she was going to say or when she was going to say it which became an on running joke amongst the family. Dina’s greatest joy was being a grandmother. She loved nothing more than having grandkids. She was blessed to have eight grandchildren, Ryder, Seth, Brody, Finn, Carson, Scottie, Trinity and Arya.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Marvin , Hope ND; daughter Sarah Robinson, Lake Linden MI, son James (Rachel) Boggs, San Tan Valley, AZ; step daughter Amanda Splettstoesser, Hope ND; Mother Barbara Boynton, Fresno, CA; sister Kelli Dackawich, Auberry, CA; brother Dean Robinson, Stevinson, CA; sister Gloria(Sean) Harvey, Livermore, CA; Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dina was preceded in death by her father Edward Robinson, step son Cole Splettstoesser, and brother Scott Robinson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Hope American Legion, Hope, ND.
