Dino Fiocchi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberts of Ocala East Chapel on Oct. 19, 2025.
Dino Fiocchi, born on June 24, 1929, in Vineland, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 96. A man of many talents and passions, Dino leaves behind a legacy that spans nearly a century.
A dedicated entrepreneur in the music industry, Dino made significant contributions as a professional drummer and teacher. His love for big band and jazz was well known, and he imparted this passion to countless students over the years. Beyond his musical pursuits, Dino was an avid softball player, a skilled carpenter, and a keen pool player, showcasing his diverse interests and zest for life.
Dino's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was a devoted member of the College Road Baptist Church and contributed to marriage counseling for the Catholic Church, where he touched the lives of many with his wisdom and compassion.
Dino was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis Fiocchi, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage and two daughters, Susan Fiocchi and Debra Fiocchi-Daley. He is survived by his cherished spouse, Mary Ethel Swing Fiocchi. Dino's legacy continues through his loving family: his grandchildren, Quincy Dan, Ivy Dan, and Dino Dan; his great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Denver, Justin, Mary, Lauren, and Ryan; and his great-great-grandchildren, Micah and Avery.
As a great-great-grandfather, Dino's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His life was a testament to the power of creativity, love, and resilience, and his memory will forever be held dear in the hearts of his family and friends.

Dino was my drum teacher, going to lessons at his house, while his wife sweetly served my father coffee and watched the news on TV. I went to school with Susan and she was beautiful! They took me one summer to go down in the diving bell and see the diving horse at the seashore....what a thrill as a child! I will never forget Dinos kindness. Now I am 75,But I remember what a wonderful family they all were!!
