Dixie A. Craig Haley
92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 25, 2023, in Avon, Indiana. Dixie was born on August 6, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Glendore and Essie Craig. She had worked for Indiana Bell Telephone. She and her late husband, Gene Haley, were owners and operators of Neff Cleaners. She was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Haley and Robert Meiners, and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Haley and Tammy Haley and several members of the Meiners family. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from noon to 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway. Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Zoo, 1200 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
