I have a story to tell you about your Mom.
Dixie was telling everyone at Head Start about the auction out at the farm.
So I decided to go, as I was walking around the boxes of stuff I looked up and saw him. I went inside the house where Dixie was and told her that I would have dressed up better if I knew that she was going to have a celebrity at her sale. She got so excited and wanted to know who it was, so I told her that Doug Kershaw was here. She grabbed my arm and we went out to meet him. He was interested in some sheet music. I think she then took him the house to meet Bill. I went to bid on something.
On Monday morning, she told everyone that she had a celebrity at her sale. She was such a story teller.

Dixie will be forever missed in our little town of Pierce. I, for one, loved her spirit. She was so ornery. I will miss visiting with her at her home and each time she took me down stairs to view the old time music player; and the time we spent together laughing at the Ault Senior Center. She was an amazing women with so many different facets to who she was. I miss her and send you all my condolences and prayers. She is no longer sick and enjoying her time with Jesus now (and Bill). God's blessings and comfort to you all in this grievous time of your lives.
