Dixie Ann Kulikowski, 72, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center. Private family services will be held in California at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Dixie was born April 9, 1953, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Ralph and Helen (Coppick) Waldschmidt. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1971. Following graduation, she moved to California where she remained for over 40 years. Dixie was united in marriage to Tom Kulikowski. Over the years, she did secretarial work until her retirement. In 2023, she moved back to Fort Dodge. Dixie enjoyed holiday gatherings with her family, going out to eat and attending the community center where she enjoyed BINGO and arts & crafts.

Dixie is survived by her daughter: Jeanette Kulikowski of Long Beach, CA; granddaughter: Breanna Martin of Long Beach; and 3 siblings: Paul Waldschmidt Sr. and wife Marsha of Fort Dodge, Randy Bell of Fort Dodge, and Lisa Hagger of Webster City, IA. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2020; her parents; and 2 siblings: Bob Bell and Nell Bell.
