Dixie Louise Leeth, 74, of Piketon, Ohio passed 10:42 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Dixie was born March 15, 1951, in Morgantown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Glen Holbert Walls, and Nellie (Mustard) Walls. On August 8, 1971, she was united in marriage to Charles David "Shunk" Leeth, who preceded her in death on July 24, 2025.
She is survived by her two sons, David Brian (Linda Bryant) Leeth, and Charles Gregory (Teresa) Leeth; four grandchildren, Shyann (Kyle) Leeth, Gregory Heith (Jamie) Leeth, Charles Derek (Sharanna) Leeth, and Tyler Adam (Kelsey) Leeth; fourteen great-grandchildren, Gavin, "Little" Derek, Bradyn, Adam, Baileigh, Alexis, Addison, Paxton, Ariana, Cynlee, Cash, Rowen, Jameson, and Anaya; her sister, Sharon Lane; and four brothers, Gary Walls, Jerry Walls, Steven Walls, and Ricky Walls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Wilma Jean Shreck, and Glenna Cross.
Dixie was an active member of Piketon Community Church. She was a retired employee of Scioto Valley School District where she worked as a janitor, and she previously volunteered as an EMT. She loved to sing in church, read, and do word searches. She and her husband Skunk were avid NASCAR fans.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at Howe Wheeler Boyer Funeral Home, Piketon, Ohio with Pastor Allen Newberry officiating. Burial will follow at Gardner Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service on Friday at the funeral home in Piketon.
