Dixie Lee Ridpath (nee Gouge), age 64 of Frederick, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.

She was the loving wife of the late Arnold Dean Ridpath, her husband, for 41 years.

Born October 13, 1961, in Frederick, MD the daughter of the late Jimmy Dean Gouge and the late Nancy Lee Gouge (nee Norwood), and mother and father in laws Bridie and Late Buford Ridpath.

Dixie enjoyed cooking, cleaning, spending time with family, gardening, and working with elderly. Enjoyed quality time with her grandchildren; she loved the holidays with her family.

She is survived by her children Jason Dean & the late wife Fancy, Amanda Lee, and Mary Ann Bridie Ridpath all of Frederick; grandchildren Trenton Simms, Shyanne Adkins, Myonna Watts, Arin, Brooke, Jason, Jr., Gracie Ridpath, she leaves behind siblings, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School).

Interment at Linganore Cemetery, Unionville, MD, at a later date.
