Dixirae Needham Obituary
She was born September 6, 1931 in Scotia, Nebraska to Ray and Orphal Pearl Chadwick Morrow. After graduating from high school, she met and married Jerrel Dean Needham who preceded her in death in 2012. She cherished being a wife and mother and making a lovely home for her family especially cooking for them. She enjoyed sewing and actually made clothes for her kids. In her older years, she liked doing word searches to keep her mind sharp.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in by her brother, Dwain Morrow and sister, Twila Hunter Barnes.
Dixirae is survived by her daughter, Sharon Larson of Nixa; son, Gary Needham and wife, Rochelle of Crested Butte, Colorado; three grandchildren, Lora Bowles and husband, Jake, Tina Larson and Amy Needham; three great-grandchildren, Jace Bowles, Sebastian Needham and Paige Needham and many nieces, nephew and extended family.
Graveside services will be Friday, November 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Maple Park Cemetery under the care of Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, 3161 W. Norton Road, Springfield, MO 65803.
