Florestela "Doña Flor" Reyes, 76 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation/viewing for Doña Reyes will be held at Lemons Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Doña Flor was born in Mexico on January 4, 1949, to Juan Romero and Maria Gutierrez de Romero. Doña Flor married Guadalupe Reyes on May 8, 1971, in Mexico. They shared forty-nine years of marriage until his passing on November 26, 2020.

Doña Flor was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Plainview, where she served as a Guadalupana, Cursillista, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and several other organizations of the church. She enjoyed attending Mass, sewing, and crocheting, making tamales, gardening, and taking care of her chickens. She especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Reyes, her son Jose Reyes, and her parents, Juan and Maria Romero.

Doña Flor is survived by her three sons, Fedencio Reyes and his wife Abigail, Eduardo Reyes, both of Plainview, and Victor Reyes and his wife Joy of Lubbock; her three daughters, Maria Hernandez, and Julie Zavala of Plainview, and Maria Bagley and husband Stephen of Houston; twenty-five grandchildren, and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.
