Billie Jean “Doey” Eustice, a lifelong resident of the Tulsa area, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the age of 98. Billie lived a remarkable life defined by dedication, strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family.

She was born on August 30, 1927, to Frederic A. Helms and Ruby D. Helms. Billie grew up in Tulsa and remained deeply rooted in the community she cherished throughout her life.

Billie was preceded in death by her beloved parents; her husband, Donald T. Eustice, whom she married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and shared 48 loving years until his passing in 2018; her sister, Betty J. Sperry; and her nephew, Dennis W. Sperry.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon A. Eubanks; her grandchildren, Shellee A. Reed, Jamee A. O’Konski, Nathalee D. Reed, Morgan D. Eubanks, Jordan R. Eubanks, and Kyle M. Eubanks; and her great-grandchildren, Canyon Curtis, Cassidee Curtis, Brittany Wright, Drake Smith, Rilee Kilgore, Ashlee Bacinett, Felisitee Bacinett, and Cayden James.

She also leaves behind her cherished niece, Diana J. Bruner; six step-children and their families from her marriage to Don; three great-great-grandchildren; and many great-nieces and nephews and their families. Billie was truly the matriarch of a large and loving extended family.

Affectionately known to everyone as “Doey,” the nickname was lovingly given to her by her beloved granddaughter, Shellee, who began calling her that as a baby. The name remained with her for the rest of her life and became synonymous with warmth, strength, and unconditional love.

Billie spent her professional life working in commercial and residential real estate, as well as oil lease management and production. She began her career alongside her father, Frederic Helms, in the oil field industry and continued working until her retirement. A respected professional, Billie was an active member of the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors, where she specialized in commercial real estate. She was recently honored by the Association for 50 years of service and dedication to the Tulsa real estate industry.

Beyond her career, Billie lived life fully and joyfully. She and her husband were longtime members of Tulsa Country Club, where she enjoyed social gatherings, special events, and time spent with dear friends and family. A devoted fan of the University of Oklahoma Sooners, Billie proudly held season football tickets for more than 50 years. Whether cheering from the stadium or watching from home, OU football brought her endless excitement.

When not enjoying football season, Billie and Don treasured their time on Grand Lake. They were members of both the Cherokee Yacht Club and Arrowhead Yacht Club, where they created countless memories boating with family and friends.

Billie was known for her kindness, strength, and willingness to always be there for those she loved. Her wisdom, generosity, and steady presence touched countless lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the many generations of her family.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Viewing will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Schaudt’s Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, followed by entombment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
