It was big shock and sad moment for me hearing Dogan passed away. I was lucky to know Dogan is 1980s in Toronto while we all were newcomers to Toronto, and met through Turkish Folk Dance and Music practices at UofT Student Centre. He was very intelligent and smart back than, and he continued to become one of the greatest mind in Math world. He was a great family man, and I and my wife visited them Fargo, and they also visited us in Toronto in few occasions. I am going to miss him very much. So long my friend, you will be in our hearts forever...
