Dolores Adams Obituary
Funeral Mass for Dolores Adams of Lettsworth will begin at 11:00am on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Fr. Kurian Zachariah. Burial will follow at the Grace Community Cemetery in Jacoby.
Dolores Adams, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Shauntelle Gunnells (Randy), Halie Adams; son, Richard Adams, Jr., (Samantha); 5 grandchildren: Bentley and Ava Gunnells, Ethan Adams, Parker Adams, Makenna Domingez, Coralee Adams; siblings, Pat Adams, Mickey Kimble, Gail Firmin, Brenda Riche, Stephanie Soileau, Linda Goodwin, Norma Gautreaux, Terry Jeansonne, Johnny Jeansonne, Roy Jeansonne, Bobby Jeansonne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Adams, Sr.; her parents, Florien Joseph Jeansonne, Jr. and Leona Rabalais Jeansonne; brother, Florien Wayne Jeansonne.
Pallbearers will be, Richard Adams, Jr, Randy Gunnells, Bentley Gunnells, Johnny Jeansonne, Sr., Roy Jeansonne, and Kenny Riche, Sr..
Visitation will begin at 8:00am until 11:00am on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
